Jay's Got Fry!
the "Away Team" reports success
Jay and Liz are dear friends who live in Minnesota and visit Windward regularly. Jay's been doing some innovative work with tubes (he and Liz made the horizontal grow tubes in Vermadise) to create a mini-aquaponics set up that can be used in the home.
A few months back, Jay acquired some tilapia for his system, and as the weeks went by, the lack of reproduction was making him to begin to wonder if all his fish were females. After not checking the tank for a while, this morning Jay was delighted to find about fifty fry doing their best to stay out of the way of the bigger fish.
