Notes from Windward: #56

An Early Morning Impression

Dawn across the pasture
Ann writes:

Ahh. Another peaceful morning. I wake and walk out to see the most spectacular sunrise. Every painter's dream.

Silhouettes of oaks and Ponderosa pines 75ft high against foothills of the Cascades for many miles, as far as the eye can see.

The sun peeking through a robins egg sky with clouds of lemon yellows, tangerines and purple to violet. Breathtaking.
